Dear customers,
We have heard your concern about Phil government actions related to
COVID-19. As know, passenger flight will be stopped in/out Phil from
3/20/2020 (until 4/13/2020 per information given, it is subject to change per
Phil government decision/COVID-19 situation), while DHL/FDEX/USP would work
as normal. With Cargos going through DHL/FDEX/UPS, we do not see
a major interruption, while there could be some delays due to amount of cargo
they have to handle.
Just in case you really want to use your forwarder to ship via passenger
flight today, we’re willing
to support your need. Please confirm if your forwarder has agreed to
pick up from Maxim Phil, then we will arrange the cargo ready, listed in the
attached. Otherwise, please help provide us with your DHL/F’DEX account# for us to change your master file, to prevent from
having any interruptions in the future. |

The Malaysian
government has decided to allow the Electrical and Electronics companies to
run PARTIALLY following the Ministry of Health guidelines. As such, our
factories and subcontractors are allowed to resume partial production by end
of the day or tomorrow pending approval on certain conditions provided by the
Ministry of Health. This goes down to list of people, how people get
protected during / after work, the size of the plant etc… We are still assessing the situation
on what capacity they are able to operate on but at this stage, we see a more
positive outcome vs. last night. That said, it is clear that not 100%
capacity will be achieved across the board. We will update again in the next
24 hours but the situation is much better than we originally thought. |

Due to lockdown from Malaysia, international passenger flights will be
significantly suspended, which has a big impact on available belly space. You
might encountered delay with freight forwarder meets capacity booking issue.
Please arrange at your end with courier service that could have less impact.
